“SINCERE BIRDNEST” Recipe

Traditional stewed bird's nest with rock sugar (one person)

Ingredients:
  • One piece of SINCERE birdnest
  • Rock sugar (according to individual preference)
  • 2-3 pieces of red dates (according to individual preference)
  • 3-5 slices of American Ginseng (according to individual preference)
  • 1 or 2 leaves of Pandan Leaf (according to individual preference)
Soaking the Birdnest:
  • Take the number of pieces of Birdnest needed and place the Birdnest in a bowl.
  • Ensure that the bowl is big enough for the Birdnest to expand about 8-10 times bigger
  • Use boiling water. (The boiling point of water is 100°C )
  • Leave the Birdnest to soak in the water for ? an hour (30 minutes).
  • Cooking Method:
  • Prepare a Double-Boiler
  • Fill the external pot with freshly boiled water that reaches to less than half the height of the internal pot
  • After the Birdnest has been soaked, drain away the water and place the Birdnest in the internal pot
  • Add 1~2 bowls of 250 ml freshly boiled water to the internal pot.
    (1 bowl of water will make 1 bowl of thick birdnest soup assuming only 1 piece of birdnest is used.)
  • Add the accompanying ingredients and cover the internal pot and the external pot.
  • Put a strong fire under the pots.
  • Continue cooking the birdnest for 2~3 hours.
  • Remove any pandan leaves (if applicable) and pour the Birdnest soup into a bowl serve hot or cold.
Raw Birdnest is mainly made up of nutritious protein and therefore contains a certain 'egg-like' smell.
Purists have been known to consume Birdnest without any other ingredients for maximum absorption and quality.

传统冰糖燕窝(一人份)


材料:
  • 燕窝一片
  • 冰糖适量(依个人喜好)
  • 红枣2–3颗(依个人喜好)
  • 花旗参3–5片(依个人喜好)
  • 1或2叶班兰叶(依个人喜好)

浸泡燕窝

  • 将所需的燕窝片和放在碗中。
  • 确保碗足够让燕窝膨胀8至10倍
  • 使用沸水。 (水的沸点为100℃)
  • 将燕窝放在水中浸泡半小时(30分钟)。

烹调方法

  • 准备俩个炖锅
  • 将刚煮沸的水注入到外部锅不超过内锅的一半的高度
  • 将浸泡过的燕窝沥干,然后将燕锅放置内锅
  • 加入1?2碗或250ml刚煮沸的水加入内锅。

(1碗水将煮成1小碗浓浓的燕窝汤假设只使用1片燕窝)

  • 加入其他材料然后盖住内锅和外锅
  • 持续炖煮燕窝的2?3小时
  • 取出所有班兰叶(如有),将燕窝汤倒入碗中备用(热或冷的)。
原始的燕窝主要都是一些营养蛋白质,因此含有一定的“'蛋般“气味。较真的已经知道食用燕窝无需任何其他的成分因为为了吸收极大的营养。
